The Community La Porziuncola was born from an idea of Don Mirco Barone, who the first brothers and collaborators built a small Porziuncola in Tempio, a small piece of land just like the very small church in Santa Maria degli Angeli rebuilt by Saint Francis of Assisi for living with his companions a fraternal life in Christ, in simplicity and mutual charity.
After much wandering with many young people and companions, finally in 2013 she was assigned to
community project the roadman's house in Cugnana, where we are now. Inside
we find places symbolic of the experience of the Saint of Assisi and his companions, and in the small
chapel dedicated to Santa Maria degli Angeli houses the relics of San Francesco and Santa
Chiara, unique in Sardinia. The Community lives a fraternal life of prayer and service
above all to 360-degree life orientation choices for young people in the area,
collaborating with numerous institutional entities. Furthermore, we bring the charisma of the Student Hall to Assisi where young people and adults can train under the wings of Saint Francis, at the Institute of Religious Sciences of Assisi.

young people and adults, friends and faithful who in this place discover every day the joyful effort of the Christian and evangelical journey, with simplicity and in total gift of their respective talents for disinterested service to others and for a personal discernment towards life choices in total openness And
dialogue, listening to the Word, in praise of God and in fraternal and loving compassion.
